Ensuring the security to enterprise network by singular security technology like firewall or IDS is not so much effective as it should be. Especially for the enterprises where the number of policies are not always fixed or varies over the time period. Because in this case handling all the policies according to their priorities of their strictness is not always possible by isolated safe guard. Therefore we have developed the INSPIRE (Integrated Network Security Policies in Routers for Enterprises) Framework to integrate all the network security policies for such enterprise by mapping the finite state machine with router nodes in such a way that coming data traffic from unsecured network will only required to face the policies which are needed to check and verify with the help of optimal number of router nodes. INSPIRE follows a very deterministic approach and also gives the better flexibility to extend the functionalities by integrating the security policies in distributed environment using optimal number of router nodes. We have also tried to justify INSPIRE Framework not only through mathematical proofs but even by giving the practical view. Taking eight routers for policies P1 ,P2 ,P3 ,P4 ,P'1 ,P'2 ,P'3 & P'4 it is seen that the Finite State Automata(FSA) based INSPIRE Framework is as effective as expected. One of the biggest advantage of INSPIRE Framework is its automation of taking decision and simplicity in configuration tasks.
