Excerpt

High speed data transfer is the major objective of Long term evolution (LTE). In LTE, through various positioning techniques, the UE location can be detected. The UE location can be exploited to reduce pause in data transfer by minimizing unnecessary measurements of neighbor cells and this can also reduce power consumption. This important issue has been analyzed in this paper through suitable proposal and case analysis.
