Excerpt

When brakeing on mue-split road, vehicle will run away off its orbit as the result of different brake force between both sides. Anti-lock Brake System(short of “ABS”) can not make brake intensity and directional stability optimized at the same time. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a Steering Stability Control strategy, which mainly utilizes Electric Power Steering(short of “EPS”) system to provide the vehicle with additional counter-steering torque in order to offset the unbalanced yaw torque on the vehicle, so that the vehicle could maintain its directionality instead of deviating from direct path. By means of co-simulation with ABS control, the SSC control method proposed in this paper has been validated.
