Excerpt

In this paper is presented position and velocity control simulation of a double-sided, 6/4 poled, 3 phased, 8 A, 24V, 250 W and 250 N pull force Linear Switched Reluctance Motor (LSRM) at elevator door load. Reference velocity is variable depended to position and time. The velocity of translator was controlled versus to position by Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC) and PI control techniques. Velocity of translator separately compared the simulation results PI and FLC techniques. While the door decelerating with FLC, velocity error is more than PI control. But, this is more useful than PI control. Because door closes is more little time than PI.
