Excerpt

Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) is a new paradigm for building software applications. It promotes loose coupling between software components so that they can be reused. SOA layers consist of user interface layer, business process layer, web services layer and web services components layer. A business process defines how an organization works to achieve the business goals. The process represents the workflow and information and it performs by orchestrating the web services in a sequence. We model and implement the business processes using SOA approach to address the current limitations faced by the e-banking domain such as lack of reusability, interoperability and flexibility. For our overall proposed work, we will firstly implement the e-banking web services. Upon the completion of web services implementation, we will then design & model the business process specification and implement the business processes to orchestrate the web services. Finally, a personalized user interface is created to invoke our reusable business processes.
