Maintenance of the distribution system is urgently needed; however the power delivery also need uninterrupted which reflected by the reliability system which consist of System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI) and System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI). Therefore the live line maintenance is the smart option to do this task in order to be able to deliver power while maintenance is conducted. The reliability of the system is increasing by applying this type of maintenance. There is also some energy cost being saved due to uninterrupted system.
