Power systems are today subjected to many crucial contingencies that lead to voltage stability and security problems. Extensive research work has been applied to enhance system security. In this paper, FACTS devices (TCSC, SVC & STATCOM) have been utilized to enhance the power system voltage security. The effectiveness of FACTS in improving the system performance has been investigated on a standard 25-bus IEEE high voltage network utilizing Matlab.
